Ein Harry Potter Theaterstück? Erst war meine Freude groß doch dann kam die Enttäuschung: Es wird nur in London zu sehen sein. Für mich als Studentin leider ein entfernter Traum, der mit viel Sparen verbunden wäre und den ich mir erst viel später leisten könnte. Die Freude war dann umso größer, als ich erfuhr, dass das Theaterstück als Script auf den Markt kommen soll und dann für jeden zugänglich ist. Egal ob er das Theaterstück gesehen hat oder nicht. Und so habe ich die englische Ausgabe direkt bestellt und die deutsche hat dann bei der Carlsen Lesenacht einen Weg in meinen Besitz genommen und wurde dann noch einmal rereadet.Ich kann ganz stolz sagen, ich bin ein Fan dieses Buches. Ich würde es trotz Harrys tragender Rolle nicht unbedingt als achten Harry Potter Band beschreiben sondern vielmehr als ein Spin Off oder gar etwas ganz neues aber das sei mal ganz nebenbei erwähnt. Mich schmerzt allerdings aus diesem Standpunkt heraus, dass es so viele schlechte Meinungen zum Buch gibt. Meiner Meinung nach sollte es klar sein, dass man ein Werk in Dramenform bekommt, wenn überall zu lesen ist, dass es ein Skript ist. Und als ein solches Drama sollte man das Buch letztendlich auch begreifen, wenn man es liest. Statt einen Roman zu lesen, sollte man im Hinterkopf behalten, dass dieses Werk eigentlich auch auf die Bühne gehört und dann erhält es seinen ganz eigenen Harry Potter-Zauber, den manche vermisst haben. Ich habe es mir jedenfalls im Hinterkopf immer auf der Bühne vorgestellt und würde es auch gerne mal dort sehen.Ich war immer sehr gespannt, wie es mit Harry weitergehen würde. Der Prolog von Teil 7 gab ja schon einen kleinen Hinweis, aber viele Fragen blieben unbeantwortet. Sind Albus Sorgen, nach Slytherin zu kommen, begründet? Wie geht es Harry? Hat er noch mit der Vergangenheit zu kämpfen? Auf diese Fragen und noch einige weitere bekommen wir in diesem Buch endlich eine Auflösung. Generell bekommen wir mehr von Harry, Ron, Hermine und Draco mit, als man denken würde, denn das Buch betitelt ja primär seinen Sohn Albus. Aber auch diesen sowie Scorpius, Darco Malfoys Sohn, habe ich so gern gewonnen. Die beiden sind genial und allein wegen ihnen sollte man diese Geschichte unbedingt lesen.Auch die Logikfehler, die viele immer anmerken sind mir aufgefallen. Für mich sind sie aber ein notwendiges Übel, damit die gesamte Geschichte funktioniert. Die mochte ich allerdings, weshalb ich über die Fehler gerne hinwegsehen konnte. Auch hier hilft es immer, zu bedenken, dass dieses Buch eigentlich ein Theaterstück ist und man es ein Stück weit einfach losgelöst von den anderen Büchern betrachten muss. Aber es ist einfach ein Stück Harry Potter und somit für mich unheimlich wertvoll. Über die Geschichte will ich nun aber nicht weiter reden. Ihr habt sie entweder schon gelesen und kennt sie schon oder ihr wollt es noch lesen und so sicher nicht gespoilert werden. Für mich beinhaltet Harry Potter und das verwunschene Kind definitiv den Harry Potter Zauber und ich bin mehr als dankbar, für dieses Werk.
My expectations weren't very high. It was a good story all in all but not extraordinary.I read the whole thing in one go because the story was actually captivating and interesting. However, i was not 100% immersed in the story.The authors did a really good job with the overall atmosphere and frequency of event. Although this was intended for the stage and not as a novel the general feel was pretty close to the original books in my opinion. Of course it didn't go into as much details as the originals but overall it was very solid. However i will only rate 3/5 not because i'm a butthurt purist fan, but because compared to other literature it was not especially great. In comparison to other plays it's solid but still not drastically outstanding. This is of course my opinion and based solely on my experience with this and other books and stories. I would still recommend it to any HP fan as it was still a nice experience after reading the original books several times. I will most certainly read this book again.

Es kann daran liegen dass es sich um ein Schauspiel handelt aber es fehlt einfach was. Als begeisterter und mehrfacher Leser der Harry Potter Romane muss ich sagen dass dieser Buch dennoch eine kleine Enttäuschung war. Harry, Ron, Hermine etc kommen zwar vor und spielen auch eine Rolle in diesem Buch; dennoch hätte man sie auch leicht durch andere Hexen und Zauberer ersetzen können. Sie bringen einfach zu wenig in die Geschichte ein. Auf der einen Seite wird die Geschichte nicht genug von Albus etc. getragen sodass man den Eltern eine geringere Rolle hätte zusprechen können. Auf der anderen Seite sind Harry etc. nicht präsent genug um die Story weit genug zu beeinflussen. Als Leser hat man das Gefühl als ob sich die Autoren nicht entscheiden konnten wer die Hauptfiguren sein sollen. Dadurch wirkt das Werk nicht abgeschlossen.

EIn Geniales Buch. Völlig anders als die anderen Harry Potter Bände. Es geht mal nicht um Harry in der Hauptperson, sondern um seinen jüngsten Sohn Albus und dessen besten Freund Scorpius, den Sohn von Malfoy. Diese unerwartete Freundschaft bringt ein großes, spannendes Abenteuer mit sich.Auch wenn dieses BUCH geschrieben ist wie ein Theaterscript, liest es sich nach kurzer eingewöhnung sehr gut. Man muss sich seiner Fantasie bedienen um sich die Welt in der sich alles abspielt und seine Wesen vorzustellen, doch wer gerne liest und lebhaft liest, wird das können und sich in das Geschehen versetzten können. Es ist ein großartiges, spannendes Buch und ich könnte es immer wieder lesen
